This website, meetings, and our donations closet are the responsibility of the Frederick Area Ostomy Support Group and UOAA, Inc. and ARE NOT part of the Frederick Health Hospital (FHH) /Frederick Home Health!!! FHH has GRACIOUSLY donated space to our cause for meetings AND the ostomy closet.
DONATIONS – What are we currently accepting? Due to our limited space we are only accepting the following unopened, unused ostomy supplies from a smoke free home specifically:
- CUT TO FIT – Ostomy wafers and pouches (Colostomy, Ileostomy, and Urostomy) two-piece pouches
- CUT TO FIT = Drainable, Closed one-piece pouches
- Colostomy Irrigation bag and sleeves
- Belts, Clamps
- Barrier rings and strips
Please check this page periodically as this list may grow/shrink as space/supplies usage fluctuates. Aside from the items above, we have the following in stock/on hand on a first-come/first-served basis:
- Skin Protection Wipes/Spray
- Stoma powder and Stoma paste (unopened)
- Pouch deodorant
- Tape, new roll only
- Adhesive remover wipes, spray, or solution
WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS – Under pads, incontinence products Op Site type dressings (transparent, permeable membrane) Dressing materials: gauze, ABD pads, saline solution Central line dressing supplies and flushes Instruments: disposable scissors, forceps Adaptic dressing Medical adhesive spray
